Aston Martin finds his new match

Aston Martin, graded DWB Trakehener stallion  has found his new partner. He will be Helene Mehlsen’s, talented danish dressage rider, new top horse. And we suppose that Aston Martin is her ambition to participate in the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 for Denmark. Helene Mehlsen is still young, but a quite merited rider already, as she has been part of the danish U25 team and has also competed internationally as a Young Rider and Junior. Her previous GP horse: Akeem by DBW Lobster has reached an age where top performances can not be expected, and even if Helene Mehlsen has several young stars in her stable, amongst those the graded stallion Blue Hors Dexter, the graded stallion 6 YO Rosetti – part of the danish long list for the Young Horses World Championships with rider Jan Christensen in the saddle, and young hope 4 YO Adrenalin Firfod there is no doubt that Aston Martin will be the jewell in the crown of her supreme collection of talented horses. Helene Mehlsen is trained by Michael Søgaard and we are expecting that the trio will challenge the established danish dressage scene in the future.

We are pleased that Aston Martin has found his match in a local danish rider, even though there has been no lack of international interest and requests. His video  played more than 6900 times with viewers from 73 different countries. Ambitious riders from all corners of the world  travelled to see him live. We congratulate Helene Mehlsen!
