Helen Persson had a buzzy and very successful Sunday competing 2 horses in Intermediate I at Hässleholms Hästsportförening and placing them 1st and 2nd in the National Level tournament. Mr. DJ (Dr Doolittle – Strohmann xx) scored 68,5% as the rider made a small mistake in one of the pirouettes. Showing a very consistent program judge at C, Maud Delling, actually scored Mr. DJ as the winner. We look forward to the new season with more music from Mr. DJ …
What a great start to the 2015 season for Helen Persson and the 10 YO mare Licorie (Licotus – Glorieux) to win the Intermediate I with 69,7% at Hässleholms Hästsportsförening on Sunday 15th of March. In Sweden the tournament season starts in March every year, after a traditional winter pause during January and February. The seasons first tournaments are thus performance indicator of how well the tournament pause has been used to focus on training and preparations. Just one thing to say: Licorie is ready for 2015!

Petersen and Mariett topped the class with a 72.960%, followed by Laura Graves (USA) and Verdades in second with a 72.200%, and Shelly Francis (USA) and Doktor rounding out the top three receiving a 72.120%. Petersen and Mariett have had a stellar season so far as they aim toward the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Finals in Las Vegas this April. She was definitely more tired today than in the past which made this test different from our previous rides,” Petersen noted.
