OJ Sport Horses is established by Olof Axelsson and Josefine Ekdahl on Västergård in Flyinge. Combined, Josefine and Olof have many years of experience in the training of sport horses. Josefine specializes in jumping and Olof in dressage horses. Together they have a strong focus on successfully bringing young horses through their training. From the horse’s first time under a rider, through basic training, to young horse performance test and young horses championships – and further on to M and S-level.

Olof has been a professional rider since 1999. In his young years he participated in the Swedish National Championships as a Pony Rider and as a Junior Rider. Focused on becoming a professional Olof moved to Germany at the age of 17, spending 2 years as working student of Jonny Hilberath. Given a honorary grant, Olof continued his education two and a half years further at Flyinge and graduated as a examined rider in 2004. Today Olof parts his time running OJ Sport Horses with a position at Flyinge being responsible for teaching students in the professional riders programme and the education of students in the Flyinge young horses programme. Olof trains with Olympic rider Annica Westerberg, Jonny Hilberath being part of Swedens National E-Team.

Josefine has been involved with horses all her life being a talented show jumper. In 2004, after finishing her university studies Josefine decided to build her career in the equine industry. Consequently she enrolled in Flyinges Stable Management and Equine Health programme in 2005 and graduated in 2007. After graduation Josefine teamed up with Olof to establish OJ Sport Horses. Josefine is responsible for the horses jumping education and of show jumping horses in the young horse tests, performance tests. Josefine is also responsible for the stable and horse management at OJ Sport Horses, making sure that all horses are kept in optimal shape. Josefine also does consulting in equine and stable management.
