We were so happy to receive this letter from the new owner of Zlatan!
Dear Eva,
I am very happy to report that Zlatan M.Ge has settled in well to his new home in New Berlin, Illinois. It has been a long and adventurous journey for him since he left home! I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation to you for all that you did for me and my trainer, Kate Fleming-Kuhn, during this experience. You were prompt and efficient in your communications with us from the very first inquiry. You quickly determined the type of horse we were looking for, by disposition, training, and budget.
We had spent an enormous amount of time and energy reviewing videos, so many, in fact, that I think it fair to say that I have become quite an expert in them! The videos prepared on behalf of your horses for sale were very well done, and they accurately represented what the horses were and what they could do. Of course, as we felt more certain that you had several prospects available which met all of our criteria (Zlatan was at the very top of that list), we needed to see and try them out to be certain that the ridability was there for me.
We appreciated your efforts to make our trip as easy as possible. We especially liked Mike meeting us that first day to lead us out to Flyinge from Copenhagen, and your thoughtful presentation of hot drinks and snacks for us.
Zlatan’s trainer, Malin Rinne, was a delight and a gifted rider. Ultimately, we discovered that Zlatan was even better than your video of him showed!
Malin volunteered information to us about the horse, and she was obviously as concerned that the horse would be finding a good home as we were about finding a good horse. That information and the continuing communication with her since the horse left Sweden has been a source of factual history which will help us in the long term.
I am not a fan of horse shopping.
But, I have to say, this experience could not have been any better. Thank you.
We look forward to many, many years with Zlatan.
