We are proud to present Daupine Byhøj at DreamSportsHorses. This impressive 9YO Small Tour mare impressed again this weekend at MRC and at the Danish National Championships for teams. Scoring above 70% in all the teams Prix St. George tests, Dauphine Byhøj shows herself as a powerful star for the future – beautifully presented as always by rider Michelle Guldbjerg.

Decorous who has been sold to the US, has arrived safely at trainer Erin Swaney’s stable in Pennsylvania having travelled almost a week from Stefan Jansson’s stable in Sweden
– and with the Dutta Corporation to New York – to his new stables at the beautiful Pennsylvania farm with sweeping green hills. As Erin put’s it after Decorous arrival: “he looks great!” We congratulate his new owner, Maria Beatriz with the purchase and look forward to be following their future successes in the dressage arena’s. Potentially already in Wellington this winter?

It has been some buzzy weeks for Charlotte Herring and her horses. Her participation at the national levels show at Ringsted 2 weeks ago resulted in a 1st place in Grand Prix with Joker Selection (featured in photo) and 68,7%. The following week Charlotte’s participation at S dressage level (MA1) with her younger horse Buffranco (sired by Negro) resulted in another 1st. place and 69,7%. Congratulations Charlotte! We also welcome to Charlotte as a new member of DreamSportsHorses.
We have the pleasure to congratulate our member Sarah Møller Pedersen with her latest achievement! Taking her 6th national title as Danish Champion in Show Jumping for Teams since 1999. Riding her stallion Turbud Caesar Sarah’s latest victory comes as no surprice as she has been riding before being able to walk, and is daughter of European Champion Rinne Møller Pedersen and Chairman of the Danish Jumping Society Niels Ulrich Pedersen. Sarah recently relocated to Jellinge in Jutland where she now is dedicated to be giving back to the sport, by running an riding facility specializing in para riding – as well as giving classes in Show Jumping. Helene Mehlsen, talented danish GP rider, has now been paring up with DWB/TAF stallion Aston Martin long enough to feel that the time was ripe to ride their first tournament. The Intermediate 2 at the national level show at Ringsted. Needless to say the pair looked stunning and they performed a nice test with a couple of small mistakes. The match between rider and horse continues to look promising. Congratulations Helene!
The now 4 YO SWB mare Larcas Soraya by Scharmeur (SWB) / Sandakan scored 78% in her first test this season. Rider Elenore Simberg says that she will continue to show this fantastic mare and that she is developing according to plan with lots of quality for future top performances. Soraya is a selection SWB mare and previously scored 9 for rideability in her 3-years test. Congratulations!
The Swedish national elections are coming up this fall and thus the debate about Sweden’s future, the quality of life and how to distribute wealth is being debated in all media channels. Being a member of the Swedish broadcast success ‘Ryttare eliten’ (The Rider Elite) Charlotte was invited to participate in the televised debate on STV1 last evening – as were her fellow equestrian celebrities Wiveca Schenholm and Jan Olof Wannius. Their message: Riding is a healthy recreational activity that should be supported more in order for more young people to participate and enjoy – Sweden should allow for this profession to grow and thrive. Agree!
