Edzer keeps improving his game!

Edzer, FEI Pony Extraordinaire, is now listed as top ranking horse on the D1-DRF list after another weekend with first placings! This is quite impressive since Edzer is a pony! His present owner and rider Helene Brinck has passed the age limit and can not compete him as a pony anymore – and thus competes him as a horse. Edzer can any time be reinstated back to his pony status when he finds his new matching pony rider! Maybe some of the competitors on full-size horses will be pleased when this happens?…

The Danish National Dressage Championships concluded

What a celebration to good dressage riding this year at Broholm! And what an exiting conclusion to the championships with a freestyle that keep all spectators on an edge right to the end. Lone Bang Larsen and Fitou L was in the lead by just 3 points before today’s freestyle and Lars Petersen on Mariett were keen to challenge her lead by delivering a difficult and impressive freestyle, and Lars did well but on the day Lone took the victory. Mikala Münter Gundersen on My Lady impressed and claimed Bronze medal. What a day for the extpat Danes now living in the US!

Dento Utopia impresses with 2 clear rounds at 140 at Grevlunda Grand Prix

One of the very important shows in the Swedish Jumping Circuit is the Grevlunda Grand Prix that takes place from the 5th to the 8th of June. The show includes qualification for Falsterbo Horse show and other prestigious classes. Dento Utopia presented himself in best possible shape and impressed with 2 clear rounds in the 1.40 class with his rider Mimmi Hansson. What a jumping talent!

Donna Romma wins National Level PSG with 72%

Elin Aspnäs and Donna Romma shined in the Prix St. George at Willands National Level show in Sweden this weekend. 72,061 % and a 1st place. Judge at C Tundi Andersson and judge at H Mollis Persson both with scores at +73%. Congratualtions to Elin Aspnäs for high lighting the outstanding quality of Donna Romma also at Small Tour level.

In these days, 5th – 8th of July, the Danish National Championships are taking place at Broholm on Fynen. Lone Bang Larsen, Lars Pedersen, Mikala Munter Gundersen and other top riders are competing about the title as well as the points to be qualified for the WEG.

Xanté and Olof Axelsson scores 72% and wins at Sydslättan

This young mare seems to be on a roll with 5 placements in 5 tournaments! And this weekends win at Sydslättan underlines that she developing fast. Olof Axelsson took over the education of Xanté in February 2014 and his work seems to be paying of. The 6 year old SWB Selection mare takes the win in LA3 with 72%. If she and Olof will debut M classes soon enough to qualify for this years young horses championships remains exiting.
